Using the above code I'm able to get accurate reading on any Arduino 5V 16 Mhz but there is completely no output when this same code is used for Arduino Mini Pro 8MHz 3.3V

Have you tried increasing the delay as mentioned in the comments:
you may need to
increase some of the delays in the bmp085ReadUP and
bmp085ReadUT functions.


Also, if that does not work, you may try this code from Jeff Rowberg's I2CDevLib Repository. [It mentions to use the Serial.begin() function with 38400 baud rate].
